Good speech by the Senator, but he kept blaming Bush - as he is
required to do.

 

He also said:

 

"The time has come to say that we have the courage to stand up to all
of the powerful financial institution lobbyists, who are running amok
all over the Capitol building  .  .  ."

 

The Congress is equally to blame, or perhaps more so. Certainly their
approval rating is lower than that of Bush.

 

Meanwhile the cause of the mess - speculation in land values - is
forgotten as they all try to deal with its effects.
