As soon as I sent my previous message I turned the radio on and learned that London stock exchange is following Asia with a very steep fall. Europe's stock markets is also plunging one gathers.
This is far worse than the '87 crash -- which was more like a computer-triggered one rather than anything else. The present one looks much more like the '29 Wall Street crash. What makes this potentially far worse is that we know so little of what the true state of affairs of the banks really is -- thus reinforcing what I wrote in my previous message.
