Redistribution of future revenues to current consumers can only result in less for all on average in future ceteris paribus. In my view it will speed the burn of resources making things even worse than a shift from future to present, as belt tightening will be avoided now. The longer bad habits persist, the faster the bottlenecks will tighten.

Those supporting basic incomes should ponder where the 'free' lunches are cooked and what the indigestion might be like. If the billions in corp. 'top dog' bonuses and fraud scams were recovered, it would help a bit. But now the govt just adds the costs to multi-generational debt.
