As usual, the cavemen (who made Classical Political Economy, by & for the
greedheads) pretend to speak for everyone, when in fact they only speak for
themselves. As if those who apply voluntary modesty weren't humans!

Progress is made by Producers -- not by Predators (they prefer the stone-age).

Ever-greater rip-off by a few super-rich isn't progress -- it's not even
economic progress, and much less social and technological progress.

Progress (mainly technical) is indeed about minimizing exertion, but this
could & should be used to improve the quality of life in societies, and
to improve the environment, not to make a few billionaires even richer.
