Thanks Mike, been there, done that. That was the premise of the White
Paper I did for the Florentine Symposium in 2004 where I traced this back to
the 1880s in the Culture market of America. This stuff has been going on
for a long time. Before it was International, it was Interstate commerce
in the U.S. where whole societies would be decimated by the market on the
whims of the wealthy. T.Boone Pickens and Karl Icahn did this to my
parents home town in Bartlesville Oklahoma when they raided Phillips
Petroleum and Conoco in the 1970s. It didn't matter that they nearly
destroyed a city with a unique culture and great works of American
Architecture. The city had the highest rate of college graduates in the
country prior to the raid. An International Arts Festival and Phillips
Petroleum, (on the Cherokee model - the President of the company was the
Chief of the Cherokee Nation) provided services to the poor and the Elderly
of the community. Afterwards all of that was gone and their magnificent
hospital was destroyed as well.

The system has just elevated this to the International level as they
proselytized the world for American capitalism. Does it bother any of the
Judeo -Christians on the list that the model for wall street is a "Golden
Bull"?

Now the average person on the street is going the way of the Arts, the
Indians, the Schools and the Medical profession. Welcome to my world.
Interestingly, a surgeon who studies voice with me (and a child of
affluence) has just come out for socialized medicine. She figures that a
salary is far preferable to the current capitalist practice of private
medicine. She's not the first MD I've heard that from. Donald Schoen
used the "Professions" as his model for the future in his books from the
Sloan School at MIT. Peter Drucker said the Orchestra was the model for
management of the future with it's CEO and horizontal level of expertise
amongst the players. Only the current system will not develop expertise
and therefore Drucker and Schoen's models are failures. As Keith points
out the current system will only develop servants and nannies.

Mike, Fernande knows about this. This was what we were looking into at the
Florentine Conference where she gave such valuable assistance in 2004.

Subject: The Middle Class in America Is Radically Shrinking. Here Are the
Stats to Prove it

Hello, Dave.

I haven't seen this on IP and thought it might be of interest to the list.
It contains the best discussion I have seen recently on the economic
polarisation of America.

t-here%27s-the-stats-to-prove-it-520657.html

Add to this that even the CIA recognizes that 1 in 8 people in the US live
at or below the poverty line and only 6.24% of the country makes $100k+ per
year and the picture is bleak indeed.

Best,

Albert
