One has to be pretty dumbed-down and filtering out good information,
to believe this PR of the genetic tinkering industry. The so-called
civilizational illnesses are due to junk-food and toxins, which happen
to be fed to us by the same pharma-industrial complex that peddles this PR
for its genetic tinkering. It is genetically impossible that illnesses like
type 2 diabetes (with onset AFTER reproduction age!) and ADHD (not lethal)
would suddenly increase so strongly from one generation to the next 1-3,
after having been stable at very low percentages for centuries, but the
genetic tinkering industry claims these illnesses are "genetic", not dietary.

Regarding the industry's hand in the dumbing-down itself, see e.g.

from a Harvard neuro-surgeon.
