I get the feeling that you make things up as you go along. There does not
appear to be any resistance to DDT yet, but as time passes it would seem
sensible to experiment on DDU, or DDV, or something else similar to DDT to
use as a replacement.

Meantime, we can have an academic discussion even as millions die in the
absence of the pesticide.

Yes I can -- e.g. to read that it is at best 90% effective, it also takes
outdoor spraying, whole countries no longer use it due to DDT resistance of
mosquitoes, etc.
