Her stuff is insanely wonderful. I wish I were doing it. I would
probably stop wishing that after the first onerous session of manually
creating the digital data required as input for a single piece.
This tech, or rather a very substantially advanced version of the
concept, plays a part in Neal Stephenson's The Diamond Age or, The
Young Lady's Illustrated Primer. Rather than taking jobs away from an
underclass that is too stupid to do any needed job, it's the way stuff
is locally mass produced to supply the underclass with cheap
necessities.
