I suppose y'all keep up with the news better than I do but here's one bit that got my attention because it seems to be the same deal as the little lamented MAI that would, for many/most developed countries, made "investor's" rights trump all other law. As predicted, they're doing it over and over, piecemeal, scattershot or whatever offers a successful hit on targeted governance.

This: http://www.truth-out.org:80/republican-shutdown-shuts-down-economy-so-do-cuts-they-demand/1302062400 is equally or more upsetting. I suppose there's been more about that on TV since the piece went up on the web. - Mike -- Michael Spencer Nova Scotia, Canada .~. /V\ [email protected] /( )\ http://home.tallships.ca/mspencer/ ^^-^^ _______________________________________________ Futurework mailing list [email protected] https://lists.uwaterloo.ca/mailman/listinfo/futurework
