Just stumbled over this on the Wikipedia page on Canada Post:

    In 1974 three Canada Post employees started to respond to mail
    addressed to Santa in Montreal, Quebec. In 1982, Canada Post
    rolled out the initiative across Canada and pledged that every
    letter sent in would be replied to....Canada Post also receives
    letters to God and on occasion, the Easter Bunny. These are
    answered as well.

Am I correct to assume that letters addressed to God have been, under
the recent government, redirected to Stephen Harper's office?  And I
suppose that letters to the Easter Bunny are directed to Conservative
political managers who are keen to identify and clasp to their
collective bosom those Canadians who believe in the Easter Bunny.
