I have a friend who is a graphics artist and he sends me a daily dose of these things except his are grotesque and often pornographic. He doesn't fail to paint something for what it is including mile how mounds of literal BS. Often funny, uncomfortable and true. Just like the AIDS blanket that set off the Fundamentalists. He's also a great cartoonist. He's one of the most moral people I know and he cares deeply.
