So the Euro version of Democracy doesn't work. Better the Aztec. If you had a bought or crooked politician they cut his throat and threw him in the swamp. Politicians were a special group with special authority. If they abused that, they were trash. Of course we love trash. Trinkets and Trash. The Beatles, Elvis, Garth, Celine. So if our Art is trash, why not the politicians? If a poor person steals from you that is survival. If a wealthy person steals from you they are trash.
