But if, at the same time, a new university specializing in science is going to be started, how come that Florida is necessarily going to sink? If Florida can't afford to establish the new university without cropping the funds of the 11 others, so be it. Besides, the more talented of the present computer scientists at the University of Florida will be found an interim job and will later surely exult in having daily access to other talented scientists in the new place -- which, I guess, will not take long to build. Florida can't be said to have a bad educational policy when it has also stabilized tuition fees.
