Distribute the productivity gains in a different way. Not through jobs and wages but perhaps through a GAI. Thus the idea of a "bit tax". A way to access the productivity of an IT economy.

Really does make you wonder where things are going with the increasing capacity to make goods cheaply, using technology instead of people. With rising unemployment and decreasing middle class income, who will be able to buy those goods? Ah well, perhaps we shouldn't despair. Perhaps the cost of making goods will fall faster than middle class income. So maybe there's hope? Not likely.
