But look at all the money they must have made for the investors. Say 1% of the population of Canada??? (just a guess). So, all the decisions to bring about those profits must have been good ones and therefor they should all get raises. Who cares if they lose a little oil here and there. Hell, the cost of running (examining) and repairing the pipeline would be more than the spilled oil anyway. So, they must have made the correct decisions. And the corporation and its investors have by definition and government ruling more rights than the rest of /any nation's citizens/ or even the nation itself.

See? It all makes sense now, doesn't it?

So, remember the "rule of law" and don't subscribe to the "Bush League" idea that war solves problems especially when considering oil.

I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that the only solution to this is war. They have already declared it.

Just months after Enbridge caused the costliest onshore pipeline spill in U.S. history, the board of directors for Calgary-based Enbridge rewardedsenior executives with pay raises in 2010.

According to Enbridge's 2011 "management information circular" <http://www.enbridge.com/InvestorRelations/FinancialInformation/%7E/media/www/Site%20Documents/Investor%20Relations/2011/2011_mic_en.ashx> the company's 12 directors voted to raise their own annual retainers by $30,000 and increased compensation for CEO and president Patrick Daniel from $6 million to $8.1 million in 2010.

Stephen J. Wouri, president of liquid pipelines, also saw his income increase from $1.9 million to $2.7 million in 2010. In fact all executives received substantial raises.
