Mitt Romney just questioned the security for the British games. British efficiency is legend from the military to the public service. Their police are first rate and their pride is world famous. Remember the Black Guards?
What is different here is that PM Cameron outsourced the security to private firms just as the Republicans are doing to America's schools, prisons, hospitals, etc. Mitt complains that "government" is inept and that "private" is the answer but when "private" is tried it resembles the prisons in so many of our states where they have privatized incarceration and given the "private sector" reason to create recidivism. I often wonder if any of these people ever worked as real entrepreneurs. Romney didn't. Romney had private capital from his family and he simply fed on the declining companies as American workers were losing everything. I saw this in Picher, I saw it in Youngstown, Ohio and I've seen it here in my own profession. It's called "be the winner" the "Winner takes it ALL!" REH
