"Owing to rapid urbanization in the developing world, the volume of urban
construction for housing, office space and transport services over the next
40 years could roughly equal the entire volume of such construction to date
in world history."  From Roger Cohen's article in today's NYTimes.    What
follows is from the late Alan Watts.    Worrying about not having enough
children to fill the jobs when we have automation and robotics doesn't make
sense to me considering Cohen's quote from a US Government study by the NIC.

I always liked Alan.   In following my path I have found Alan's comments
about wasting time to be spot on.
