As regards your question in the Subject line, my answer is "not particularly" It's a good article and worth reading but where it talks about producing producer goods and consumer goods it stll hasn't caught on to the fact that Europe rather than America was the first to discover that there are no new significant consumer goodies to keep the industrial machine going. It is producer goods that are allied to services rather than used in making consumer goods that will take up more space in the GDP. . .
