Why do you write so much?
If you wrote a short message, I would read it!!

'Cos it's too easy to write short messages.

'Cos, too often, snappy responses to others merely reinforces one's
prejudices.

'Cos I'm not interested in merely disagreeing with others. I want to find
out that what I think I believe can be argued through in a reasonably
coherent way.

'Cos, sometimes, when I've tried to argue something through, I find that I
can't put up a good case, and change my views. Uncomfortable but salutary.

'Cos I appreciate the efforts of some others who write long messages.
They're well worth reading because I know that they've put a lot thought
into arguing their case.

That's why!
