I was rather hoping to read a posting from Canadian FWers on the recent meeting in Dalhousie of 18 of the world's leading oceanographers. I understand that they were all agreed that climate warming of the order that we have apparently been experiencing (from limited ground-level land measurements) would be well within the norm of natural variation and that, in any case, there is no evidence that CO2 is responsible for it. There is incomplete and unreliable evidence so far for 9 out of the 12 major variables of the IPCC Report. If anyone has further information on this conference I would be most interested to hear of it.
