Arthur, Countries are not like people who may need to rest. The are bunches of people who unfortunately rely on politicians and their obedient economists to run the economy. Never could there be a finer prescription for disaster. I said that not only do economists not know why economies are staggering into recession - they don't even know why there was a boom.
