The national humiliation of the National Health Service in its inability to
carry out its own operations for English people but to start sending
patients abroad to French, German and Spanish hospitals is given weight by
many cartoonists in today's papers.

The cartoons are mainly on the theme of patients sending X-ray scans to
their families back home instead of holiday postcards.
