Hi Keith:

It is not the crooks that are important - though all of us would like to see
someone get their comeuppance.  Rather it is a system that has been
degenerating since the last great purge - whenever that was????

I think these are the signs of a system malfunction and there will come a
time when the system will be repaired - whether the repair is a patch job, a
remodeling or an overhaul remains to be seen.

Lateral flows of information and exposure need to be backed up by
independent media ie government, for all private media is or probably will
be biased in some manner.  It has already happened in the Stats Can (or the
equivalent in other countries) has to considered accurate and unbiased for
it to be used/useful.
