If China will at all, one day take the place of America as the predominant power, it will be for other reasons. America also didn't become the predominant power because Americans would be cleverer than Europeans for example. There is a lot more involved in power than just 'being clever'. For example: most women are more clever than most men, but does that mean they have more 'power'? Jan
