George W Bush told the world today:

We just learned a lesson this week. It's going to
take a while to succeed [in the war against international
    terrorism].

At that rate, we may yet realize that the Japanese
are going to attack Pearl Harbor 60 years ago [verb
tenses meant as written].

But we are in good hands! President Bush told
us a long time ago that if he had known those
evil people were going to misuse airplanes to
attack the NYC WTC, hwe would have done everything
in his power to stop them! (I have the citation info
for this quote)

And, what do you know? The Pentagon had an
exhibit of paintings by one of our soldiers.
The paintings showed, in one case the WTC, and
in another case the Pentagon, in flames, with
a USAF supersonic fighter zooming toward us,
away from the burning building --> to intercept [to
intercept *what*? oxygen and nitrogen molecules that
happen to be in the area?]

In comparison, Lucent Technologies downsizing
another 10,000 employees (on their way down from
200,000+ to 35,000 in 2003) seems insignificant.

To quote Elie Wiesel again:

Don't compare. All suffering is intolerable.
