I have not been following this specific item, but I have
seen at least one and maybe two items in the NYT recently which
struck me the same way.

We all have to get in the practice of "capturing" material
that seems "interesting" when we see it, precisely
because it may mysteriously disappear at any moment....

I have difficulty doing this because my "reflexes"
were bacly damaged by a childrearing which made sure I did not
see the bad things my parents and teachers were
doing to me. You may have been similarly
crippled. So we try to hobble as best we can, and let
us not forget that crutches even have their uses.

    A pox on all prudes.
