Doesn't worry me at all actually. I'm long enough in the tooth to watch the waxing and waning of empires impartially, and even with a certain amount of amusement. Except when it concerns my genes. These I treat with a certain amount of selfish interest. It may interest you to know -- or it may not, of course -- that I will be leaving most of my money in trust to my six grand-daughters on condition that they learn Cantonese before the age of 21 . . . just loading the dice a little . . . .
