Maybe part of the problem with depleted uranium foods -- I meant irradiated foods, is that the radiation may not only kill salmonellas, but also break down nutrients in the food? Studies seem to show that vitamin pills don't provide the same health effects as the "same" nutrients in foods.
This is just my guess.
(I did email Purina to ask if they put animal brains and spinal chords in their pet foods.
Don't eat your pet unless you cook it thoroughly.
