[Futurework] Downing Street retracts

Earlier today at a morning press conference, Tony Blair said again that 
Saddam had WMDs and that's why the UK had gone to war. He had the evidence, 
and the people of Britain must believe him and be patient  because the 
evidence will be published in due course.

This evening, while Blair remained in Evian for the big G8 jamboree 
tomorrow, the spin doctors at Downing Street, realised that Blair was 
giving himself too much rope and was in danger of  hanging himself. Before 
Blair ends his political career at the next press conference, they have 
just issued a statement saying that WMDs 'may never be found' --  not even 
a single one.
