Where will the pereons who want to work offer the highest bounties to potentential employers?

I think it is interesting to think about the
underlying condition for the Freudian unconscious:
A person is being hurt by persons on whom he or she
depends for their continued life. The person
faces the choice of continuing to be hurt as
the condition for being able to continue to live,
or being abandoned. So the neurotic's
protest is essentially: "You keep hurting me and
I hate you for doing this to me, but I
have no place to go, so, please! Don't stop
hurting me because then I will die...."
(The employee's prayer in all but the more
favorable labor markets: "Please keep jerking
me around so I am not out on the street you
b-stard!"). It's called "ambivalence".
