Darryl, forgive me, but you're being arrogant here.

Sorry, When I get excited, I may need an editor.

I meant your knowledge and your desire to seek the knowlegde as being greater than that of the general populace.

You seem to have found the true path when nobody else has.

Natalia feels this line has a familiar ring to it.
But, just as you, I search. There are many avenues that are not part of the mainstream. It all depends upon one's experience as to the path a search will take.

I've known many people, including members of my own family, who were really quite aware of what is going on in society, but who are just too damn busy staying alive to do very much about it.

Indeed, busy-ness can reduce the chance for inquiry, and tirelessly examining the tree (working) can lead to ignorance of the forest around it. Those in charge want all to be as busy as possible to make ends meet, then they do not have the chance to question what is occurring because they cannot see what is taking place.

I've known other people who have been kicked around so much that they are in a state of confusion, not ignorance.

Too true. And this confusion leads to a lack of energy as well as lack of direction. Once again, those in charge, win.

Where do you get you superior knowledge?  Who has entitled you to it?

I obviously hit a nerve but I need clarification on which area you are referring to. Superior - no, perhaps alternative. Entitlement? I suppose that which we make use of in our search through our experiences?

You are still caught on the "word" masses because of how the populace of certain areas were perverted and, in effect, destroyed or at least set back from any good idea of community by fascist or totalitarian regimes. However, the reason I used it is precisely because of the way the current government regimes (and large corporations in particular) are treating and controlling the populace through the use of Public Relations Companies and media propaganda.

Both right and centre are essentially the same in their attitudes and the left is not far behind. And here I have to agree with Harry (partly) in that the privilege of the wealthy is out of control. It is as if infiltration has occurred at all levels of government by those groups bent upon a new, coercive, unrelenting and unforgiving method of control to create an economic slave base for the betterment of the few.

"I too mourn the passing of the left.  People like J.S. Woodsworth, M.J. Caldwell, Douglas, Stanley Knowles and the Lewises played a huge role in shaping the universal public services that Canada has been noted for. "

I agree entirely.

As you can see; words are only words, but they can be used to control or to emotionally engage the --- masses.

All the best,
In communication,
Darryl
