It would seem that one never knows what will happen at any particular place with real estate. Our block is very old, with a combination of big houses and little houses and lots of trees. For years nothing seemed to move. Then suddenly this year, three houses changed hands. Out moved the old people and in moved the new, with lots of kids and tremendous energy. Additions are being built, old porches are being ripped off and replaced and front lawns are being restyled. Except for the noise of the odd cement truck coming in what are supposed to be the quiet evening hours, we're enjoying it enormously. The street's come back to life!
