Have you wondered why no liberals complain about their judges being too
conservative?     But the conservatives elected Souter and consider him to
be a traitor, according to the NYTimes last week on the affirmative action
and anti-sodomy cases.   Warren was elected by Eisenhower as a conservative
etc.    To a Liberal, making a conservative judgment is being temperate, but
the reverse is definitely not the case.   I submit that the problem is that
conservatives when elected to a life time court appointment with unlimited
time for argument and study, tend to grow up which is a problem.
