They are not trustworthy. I think Hunt is a decoy. In case the race is
lost they can claim to have been on top of the truth by taking credit and if
Bush gets away with it they can ignore Hunt and call him the "house liberal"
which he isn't. I'm so tired of journalists who care so little about
journalism and fair play that all they can do is "parrot" the party line.
That's what we were taught to hate about the communists. Today we have it
in our own house. Its disgusting and embarrasing.

There's some of this in most places, but George W Bush
seems pretty "hard core". I've collected over the
years of his presidency a few quotes, including one
where either he or one of his mouthpieces said that
the Palestineans were free to do whatever they wanted --
but that if they don't choose wisely, there will
be consequences. This sounds like the mafia to me.

Bush keeps talking about his confidence that people will
make the right decisions. I find this ominous.

Perhaps there is such a thing as an Ivy mafia, a silver-spoon
Yakuza. I always thought the real mafiosi et al. wanted
nothing more than to become respectable without becoming
poor, which Bush et al. already are both of. Of course,
little boys like to play all sorts of fantasy games....
