Not a foolish question at all. Brilliant and obvious.

Definitely a "keeper"

Subject: [Futurework] Government meddling in persons' private lives

The NYT today has a paradigmatic example:

"Florida Court Viods a Law on Abortion"

http://www.nytimes.com/2003/07/11/national/11FLOR.html

Now let me ask a fool's question (for fools can
ask questions):

Why don't the conservatives and the liberals both
agree that they each wants the government to meddle in persons'
personal lives, but that each side wants
the government to meddle (and not meddle) in different ways?
