While listening to a PBS station in the car the other day, I heard part of a speech by one Ray Anderson, apparently the CEO of some company; he was talking about sustainability in a way that one rarely hears from people in the business world and it turned out that it was a rebroadcast of a speech given a few years ago; it was being rebroadcast as part of the PBS fundraising for that station.

Anyway, I went to google and found his website:

interfaceinc.com.

If you go to this site, and look under the GOALS menu there is an item about sustainability and a sustainability report in another menu, I think it was called RESULTS.

In light of recent conversations on the futurework list about whether it is possible to have a 'good society' with a capitalistic economic system, I was particularly impressed with what this man had to say and the way he said it.
