In Werner Herzog's film about Gulf War I -- which I
highly recommend and which is on DVD -- _Lessons of
Darkness_, there is a shot (you've got to be alert to
notice it) of a reinforced bunker that had been
penetrated and blasted by a U.S. bomb.  Somebody
had spray-painted on the top of the bunker:
    Hard Rock Cafe
    Under new management
St. Erving of Goffman, bless us this day,
we ask in thy merciful name.  Help us find a
way to work the system we have no choice but to
work in.
