No Harry, THAT is right wing thinking. I say something outrageous in order
to break the envelope with its absurdity and you accept it thus keeping the
envelope intact. There is nothing natural about markets. They are
creations of human endeavor and there are many versions. The let it be
version is just the same as the silly environmentalists "Smokey the bear"
version of forest fire control. It doesn't work anymore than letting
forests be clear cut or fires burn out of control. There is another way.
You land policy holds some hope but the other stuff thus far I don't see.
My people lost 98 people for every 100 as a result of untrammeled traffic by
Europeans. Eventually unscrupulous Europeans used the population advantage
given by virtue of the fact that they had lived with animals and developed
immunity and had poor sanitation and developed immunity and didn't take
baths and developed immunity as a weapon of war. Practiced policies that
are now illegal under International law sending unwashed smallpox blankets
to the Blackfoot in order to open up the West to trade. So there has to be
a better way. A more humane, more cultured, more sophisticated way.

Try harder.
