I'm a complete newbie at FVWM-Crystal, but its already replaced Gnome on my comp. However, there are couple of problems that are seriously bugging me. My first problem is that if I have both a terminal and firefox open, anything I try to type in the browser shows up in the terminal instead! Even when I send the terminal to the background it still acts as the current window no matter what I do. I went to preferences, turned off privileged terminals and set the windows focus to MSWindows, but it still does it. My second problem is with the virtual desktops. I love the fact that I'm given eight of them, since I put them to good use. The only problem is, that if I open a document in one virtual desktop, it shows up in the bottom taskbar in all my other virtual desktops. This kind of defeats the purpose for me, since it gets cluttered fast when I have two browsers and numerous documents open at the same time. They all show up in the bottom taskbar of the screen no matter what virtual desktop I'm on, and I can't see anything.
Any ideas on what files I should edit to fix these problems? Thanks
