Hi Fabio, I always experienced problems with Quakeconsole. What I finally did is create a button in my bar, to simply trigger the required FvwmCommand manually if for some reason it didn't work out out if the box.
FvwmCommand 'Key Super_L A $[Mod] QuakeConsole' I mapped the quakeconsole to Super_L (left windows key) as the tilde key is not existing in spanish keyboards... Hope this helps. (BTW, may I also suggest Harnir to change this binding to a windows key ?
