I am a new admin for FVWM-Crystal.

Maciej and me took this decision because a lack of time from both sides. It is
just simpler that I become admin for this project.

First, I updated the FVWM-Crystal version to 3.0.5 on the website.

I will not replace Maciej, I
just want that it is as easier as possible to commit new code to this project,
and that on a stable repository. For that, I done a svn repository. All new
development will be done on that svn repo. The darcs repository is frozen
because I just don't have time to fight with the kind of problems we was
experimenting during the preparation of the 3.0.5 release.

I apologize for the few of you using different darcs repositories. You will
have to find another way to mix you personal repository with the official one.
One possibility is that you made it public, and I will check how it is possible
to incorporate it into the svn tree somewhere.

My personal development plan for the near future is to:

1) Check and modify the Makefile in order to make it to work well with svn.

2) A new recipe with new window decoration styles and a new button model that
will mimic the look of the AmigaOS. For the real feel, buy an amiga because
X-FVWM do have too many 2D limitations in comparison with a real Amiga computer.

3) Code cleanup.

4) New release with the work of 1), 2) and 3).

I already do have some parts of 2) working at home. It begin to be
nice:http://img528.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot200804301829lv0.png
The topbar is almost done, I am working on the details and that is the most
time consuming part. It is a little button at the bottom left. It will
show/hide the bottom bar.

Any comment will be appreciated, especially regarding the look of the buttons
into the title bar. They are 4 of them like in the AmigaOS (well, not always
into the AmigaOS where the button number depend of the programs). They do
have the same functions that in the FVWM-Crystal button theme. I just removed
the right button that have the same actions that the left button.

But my first work on the svn will be on the Makefile. It will
become the official repository so soon that I am done with this Makefile work.

I am also very open to any contribution that can add new functions to
FVWM-Crystal. One possibility can be to do a contrib trunk into the svn. If a
contribution will be of general interest, it will even be possible to add it
into the main trunk.

Cheers,
Dominique
