Well, I was gone a few moths. For now, I sorted out most of the things I want for the new release. What is left to do is mostly code cleanup at the exception of the music player that need some more work.
- I done a lot of work on the amiga recipe. It make me to sort out a few bugs, and to find a way to make the different maximize functions to remember correctly the last used size, even if it is a custom size (the first one was buggy and the second one non existent). This recipe also have a new topbar that is more like the one from the amiga. I think than mac users will like it too. New icon launcher that will create icons for every mounted partition into the system. (1) Not sure if it will will work with any partition, (2) not sure if it is portable, and because of (2)I am not even sure if I will include it into the release and this is not my priority. - The different music-* files will be merged into one file (a huge one). It will also be an unified button into the recipes (simpler and less code into the recipe). About half of the supported players are done. I will focus on this so I can commit all my changes into the svn. I almost forget, I done a script that generate all the playlists (for audio and movies). It can be called from the button. I also moved the sound preferences (maybe I must change their name to media preferences) from the preferences menu to the media button for improved productivity. - New preferences for fonts and fonts sizes. Done, a lot of file are modified to work with this. I must check than I don't forget any file. - Modified wallpaper preferences with global and per page wallpaper. - New focus policy: Amiga (ClickToFocus without Raise). so we will have 4 focus policies: PointToFocus, PointToFocus with Raise, ClickToFocus and ClickToFocus with Raise. This Amiga focus policy have the same problem than the Windows policy, it doesn't work well when NumLock is enabled. This is a Fvwm issue, so don't complain here about this. From http://www.fvwm.org/documentation/faq/#5.5, it is 2 possible solutions but both create side effects. The best solution for me is to only use numlock when I need it with those 2 focus policies. - And some other things that I forget. More about this when I will commit my changes. - The style loading order was a huge mess with unwanted side effects at restart. It is better now. I must check this one more time. # # # # # The website is down, I will try to resurrect it.
