I am almost done with what I want to do before to make a new release, but it would be great if you can download the code from the svn, try it and report back:

It will add, if thunar is installed but without running rox or nautilus, icons on the desktop that correspond to the mounted drives. For now, it is included only in the Amiga recipe, and all partitions and $HOME are enabled. Thunar is bind to the icons. I replaced the mount call (which could freeze fvwm at startup) by a gawk check on /proc/mounts. This function should now be bulletproof, POSIX compliant, and should be able, even if I cannot test this, to show more partitions.
