Thanks.

IMO, no. But, our fearless leader has an objection. See this thread:
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.window-managers.fvwm.devel/3059
Oh I see.. I've read that thread "diagonally" as it went through, so
very few of it remained in my head :)

That's the plan. If it were up to me I'd remove it now, but not if it
is going to upset Dominik.
Anyway, once fvwm/fvwm.1.in is no longer used I'll convert all the other
man pages (mostly modules) to XML format - how cool would that be!? :)
I've installed a man2html converter especially for the fvwm man page,
so that I could use the browser's search capabilities on it. So I do
prefer the new html docs :)
But I admit I understand Dominik's claims. This change requires
rebuilding the whole mental structure of the documentation. It's
almost the same as creating the mental structure of the fvwm code for
the first time, and I went through that not so long ago (it is
definitely hard!).
So if I understand Dominik correctly, he prefers the old docs because
he doesn't want to just throw away all his current knowledge of the
fvwm.1.in file. But I also think this is an unfunded worry, as the xml
files are quite similar to the old file.
Cheers,
Renato
