I'm sorry but I can't reproduce this:

$ cd fvwm/po/
$ make fvwm.sv_SE.gmo
rm -f fvwm.sv_SE.gmo && /usr/bin/gmsgfmt -c --statistics -o
fvwm.sv_SE.gmo fvwm.sv_SE.po
67 translated messages.


It seems as if the build directory has files locally modified, which has resulted in a cvs-conflict.
