This mail has the same content but with better line brakes now:Dear folks, I extended the FvwmRearrange (1.0 -> 1.1) module of fvwm-2.5.21, its now possible to specify -name:WINDOWNAME and -class:WINDOWCLASS. e.g., i want to rearrange only windows of the class XTerm, so i am using -class:XTerm as an argument to FvwmRearrange. I can use -name:FOO if i only want to rearrange windows named 'FOO'. A combination of those two is possible as well. See this screenshot and look at the terminals and the FvwmConsole: http://tmp.buetow.org/FvwmRearrange.png. Only the XTerm class windows got cascaded. The patch is attached to this email. Here is a better patch. Changed the options from
-name:WINDOWNAME and -class:WINDOWCLASS
into
-name arg and -class arg
which does fit better to the existing flags.
