Hello! I have written OpenEmbedded recipe for FVWM 2.5.26 with some patches applied.
Common request for discussion is here: http://fvwm.lair.be/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=2106 Here I attach split of configure.ac.patch that fixes libraries detection in configure when cross-compiling and can be safely merged into fvwm sources.
