Hello, I'm just throwing this question out to everyone, but is there any merit in making some future version (where that would be a long time ahead) of FVWM XCB-aware? I've been following XCB[1] for a while and it seems many projects are starting to adopt it. I don't think it does all that xlib does at the moment, but is this something to bear in mind? I ask only because where window managers are concerned (i.e. FVWM in this case) that has to run on non-Linux platforms and older installations of software where XCB might not be present) such a change might not be easy.
