I had some testing issues there. I don't remember what they were but I got something like --desktop gnome- to work and left that comment behind. Is there an xdg rule that makes '-' special? I have these .menu files on FC 16: applications-gnome.menu applications.menu documentation.menu gnomecc.menu kde4-applications.menu kde-information.menu preferences.menu server-settings.menu settings.menu start-here.menu system-settings.menu These 2: applications-gnome.menu kde4-applications.menu Seem to be saying that we should treat the whole name as one thing. -- Dan Espen
