I've checked it. Yes it truncate in the edit box ... apparently.

The cursor stops at the end but the text is completely available.
If you start deleting the characters from the beginning the missing
text appears in the field.

The text is saved in FvwmForm-Desktop-Config completely, too. So
it works as 'designed'...
